I am honoured to stand as your Green Party candidate in Raynes Park ward. I have worked in healthcare, mostly as a paediatric nurse, for 25 years and I am not afraid of working hard. I have been lucky enough to work across a variety of sectors and have been able to gain a deep insight into the pressures that many families have to endure. My experiences have enabled me to develop a practical and diplomatic approach to solving problems and I believe that I would be able to transfer these skills working for the people of Raynes Park as local councillor.
I have lived in SW20 for 19 years and I have loved raising my three children here and getting involved in my local community. I believe that Raynes Park has so much to offer, but I also believe there is plenty of scope for improvement. I would like to see better protection of our open spaces and more support for those working hard to keep these areas pleasant and accessible for all. I would also like to see how we can work better with the local community to ensure that cycling and pedestrian routes are safe for all road users. The issue of rubbish collection is also an area that will require much thought and consultation. I believe that a solution can be found that suits all residents.
If you vote for me to become your local councillor, I will listen to you and I will work hard for you.
